Overview

Mevlana University began the “heartfelt (sincere) education” in the 2010-2011 academic year, with its faculties of Engineering, Education, and Foreign Language Preparatory School.
 
Our founding organization, Gevher Sultan Education, Research, Culture and Health Foundation (GESAV), was created in 2007, and the establishment of Mevlana University was started from then, taking the first step in the educational life of our country in July, 2009. Our university takes it’s name from the prominent emissary of universal humanitarian values, Hazrat Mevlana Jalaluddin Rumi, having as it’s ultimate aim to be one of the leading universities from the point of view of quality in education, culture, art, as well as inter-civilization dialogue, peace and tolerance activities combined with scientific research and publication.
