Today, with approximately 22 thousand students from 90 different countries, Near East University established in Nicosia, the capital of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, has earned a well-deserved international identity, offering high-standard educational opportunities with its qualified academic staff and its well-established infrastructure. Near East University is a full member of the European University Association (EUA), International Association of Universities (IAU) within the body of UNESCO, International Society for Engineering Education (IGIP), Joint Commission International (JCI), and the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW) as well as 118 national and international foundations and institutions.
Perfectly composed with a superbly aesthetic design, the modern campus of NEU stirs a sense of wholeness with all its faculties, laboratories, workshops, computer centres, cultural centres, dormitories, Olympic indoor swimming pool and other social and sports centres. Moreover, the Near East Kindergarten, Pre-School, Primary School and College have all been conscientiously designed and are situated within the NEU campus.
The sole aim of NEU, with all its academic staff and administrative units and 17 faculties, 90 departments, 4 postgraduate institutes with 187 programs (at MA and PhD level), 2 schools, 4 high schools and 28 research centers, is not only to provide their distinguished students with the best possible educational environment but also to nurture confident, responsible, rational, creative, research-oriented, and liberal-minded individuals who will contribute towards the advancement of their nation and country.

Scholarships for Foreign Students are given in order to increase the inflow of the students and in order to advertise TRNC to foreign countries. Awarded students get a special discount on their tuition and fees.
NEU, considers the expected demands of students in every respect and aims to offer the best possible financial conditions to its students. The NEU Undergraduate tuition fee is €5,600 for most of our programs. All International students receive a 50% scholarship on this standard tuition fee whereby bringing the annual fee to €2,800. Specific departments which are not within the standard price group are Medicine, Pharmacy, Veterinary, Dentistry and Law. Prices of these programmes are listed below:

All inclusive packages are only available for standard tuition fee programs and covers accommodation in a standard dormitory room for 4-people. Departments listed in the table above and Architecture are not included in the package offer.
Tuition fees for postgraduate programmes will vary depending on the department and number of courses a student would like to take.
