Roger Williams University was originally founded in Providence in 1956. With a growing student population, the hunt was on for a new, larger location, and in 1967, groundbreaking began at the University's current location. Formerly Ferrycliffe Farm, a dairy farm owned at the time by Mary Howe DeWolf and Marshall Fulton, the location was -- and remains -- convenient to Boston, Providence and Newport.

Our campus is home to the Feinstein College of Arts and Sciences as well as five professional schools. Students live in a variety of housing options from singles and doubles to suites and apartments in six on-campus residence halls and two off-campus halls. Roger Williams University offers a number of institutional scholarships for international students ranging from $10,000 to $16,000. Scholarships are renewable for the student's full four years of study at RWU, if they continue to meet eligibility requirements.

For maximum scholarship consideration, you must submit your Undergraduate Application for Admission by February 1 for Fall Semester and November 1 for Spring Semester. (Your application for admission will also act as your scholarship application. No additional applications are necessary for scholarship consideration.)
