Overview
Founded in 2010, Bezmialem Vakıf University is the first thematic research university in the Health and Life Sciences in Turkey.
BVU started education in the academic year of 2010-2011 at its historical building (built in 1843) to be a leading university in the fields of medical sciences and education, which is taken as a local and global reference point with its education, research and services and members proud of being a part of it.
BVU’s mission is to serve and function as a university which bears the responsibility of producing and emitting knowledge that the people of our country and all the humankind need, which has truly grasped a university spirit, and which can meet in education, learning and development the requirements of its students, who express their thoughts freely, who have the capacity to analyze and sythesize knowledge, who contribute to the growth of individuals sensitive to the perception and solution of the social and technological needs of the future, and who respect the social values and diversity.
