Overview

The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) creates opportunities and changes lives through access to quality teaching, services, and experiences that enrich our diverse community.

The largest and most ethnically diverse higher education institution in Nevada, CSN has three main campuses in Las Vegas, North Las Vegas and Henderson and multiple sites and centers.

Students can choose from more than 190 degree and certificate options in more than 100 areas of study, including 25 degree and certificate programs available entirely online.

Scholarships

Scholarships are money awarded to applicants on the basis of academic achievement or special talents.  Unlike some other forms of financial aid, scholarships do not have to be repaid.  Awards range from $500 to $2,500.  The College of Southern Nevada encourages all students to apply for these prestigious awards.

The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) Financial Aid Office in collaboration with CSN Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of our web-based scholarship application. 

·         The Financial Aid Office will begin accepting 2014/2015 applications on February 18, 2014 through June 10, 2014.

·         The CSN Scholarship Application will be available to students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

·         Students can apply for all CSN administered scholarships with one application.

·         Scholarship funds are limited.  Apply by the priority filling date, (April 30, 2014) to increase your chances of receiving a scholarship.

The information you provide in this application will be reviewed by the CSN Scholarship Committee for many different measurements of scholarship including academic excellence (GPA), program of study, leadership, community service experience, financial need, and written or oral communication.  It is very important that the information you provide be as accurate as possible.
