TOEFL is the primary English language skill test that is most widely accepted by
institutions in the U.S. It is offered by ETS (Educational Testing Service). Minimum
score required for admission is:
61 IBT (internet based), or
500 PBT (paper based), or
173 CBT (computer based)
IELTS (International English Language Testing System)
IELTS is the British test that is available around the world and accepted by many
institutions in the U.S. Minimum score required for admission to De Anza is 6.0.
Students should take the test at least 2-3 months before the application deadline.
Students should request the score to be sent directly to De Anza College.
