Docklands campus

Situated in a stunning waterfront setting, our Docklands campus provides a modern, well-equipped learning environment, with purpose-built lecture theatres and seminar rooms, a 24/7 library and learning centre, and a multimedia production centre with audio and visual labs and studios.

Our Student Village is located on campus providing purpose-built accommodation for over 1,200 students, as well as shops and a launderette.

Stratford campus

Our historic campus, close to the town centre of Stratford and the 2012 Olympic Park.

Following an extensive programme of refurbishment, our Stratford campus provides impressive facilities located in the heart of Stratford. Recent developments include a new Library and Learning Centre, laboratories and computing facilities, and new buildings housing the Cass School of Education and Communities and the Centre for Clinical Education in Podiatry, Physiotherapy and Sports Science.

Stratford has a thriving town centre, including Westfield Stratford City, the largest indoor shopping mall in Europe, providing a vast range of shops, cafés, bars and restaurants. In addition, Stratford has two multi-screen cinemas, a famous theatre, an arts centre and much more, as well as excellent transport links.

University Square Stratford Campus (USS)

University Square Stratford (USS) is a new education hub in the centre of Stratford. A joint venture between the University of East London (UEL) and Birkbeck, University of London, it provides a new campus for 3,400 students.

English Requirements

The English Language entry requirement for undergraduate programmes is a minimum IELTS score of  5.5 / 6 depending on the programme and year/level of entry. We also accept other qualifications, including TOEFL and PTE. The specific requirements for your chosen programme, including individual component scores, would be outlined as one of the academic conditions if you are made an offer.

Postgraduate (Master's) Courses

The English Language entry requirement for the majority of postgraduate programmes is IELTS 6.0 / 6.5. We also accept other qualifications, including TOEFL and PTE. Specific requirements for your chosen programme, including individual component scores, would be outlined as one of the academic conditions if you are made an offer.

 If you do not meet our English Language requirements, you may be able to take a short pre-sessional Englishcourse with us before your main programme starts.

 


Scholarships

Early Payment Discount

We offer a 5% early payment discount to students who pay fees in full, and complete the online Student Reply Form, by 19 Sept 2014 (for September 2014 entry). Students who are awarded a scholarship listed below are also eligible for this discount, subject to payment of any remaining fees by these dates.

£4,000

Any new student holding a conditional offer to join a Taught Masters degree at UEL. There must be no academic conditions attached to a student’s offer at the time of application.

A maximum of 8 scholarships are available in the academic year 2014/15, awarded on a competitive basis.

Students must pay all remaining fees in full, and complete the online Student Reply Form.

 Please note that successful students will not be entitled to receive any other UEL scholarship in addition to the International Merit Scholarship.

 Alumni Discount

If the University of East London have previously awarded you one of the qualifications listed below you will be eligible for the Alumni Scholarship; a 15% discount off the Tuition Fees of any subsequent courses* you undertake.
