The slogan “at the heart of Istanbul” fits really well with Bahçeşehir University (BAU). In Beşiktaş, near the Bosphorus where the main campus is located, there are almost full day activities starting from earlier in the day and it is possible to see an event in almost every corner of the university.
When you enter to university, the first thing you will see is the large number of international students. There are over 1000 foreign students from USA to China and from France to South Korea. When you asked them why you preferred BAU, the answer you will get is always the same: Its central location and international power. To get to BAU is really easy. There are ferries which provide free transportation to the students and professors between Beşiktaş and Galata campuses which are located at the heart of İstanbul. Mainly new media studies of the communication faculty are done in Galata Campus. There are many studios in Galata from digital media to tablet publishing, from digital game studio to news room where students learn the pillars of news making.
BAU has programs not only for students but for graduates as well. With training programs and events organized by Graduates Office throughout the year, BAU family continues its strong ties.

Undergraduate Scholarships
Undergraduate tuition fee is $7900 per year (includes %50 international student scholarship). A scholarship of $7900 is offered to all international full-time fee paying students joining the first year of a course in 2013-14 and it will remain constant throughout your studies.
Graduate Scholarships
Master: The fee of the whole master program is $8900, it can be paid in 3 installments. This is the fee with 50% scholarship for international students given by the Board of Trustees.
Ph.D: All applicants will recieve 50% scholarship given by the Board of Trustees.
With this included scholarship the final program fee is $13800 which covers a 2 year course period and 2.5 year dissertation. The tuition fee can be paid in a few installments.
All full-time international students must show a receipt for their first tuition payment before registering for classes. Undergraduate students may pay for their program in two installments. Graduate students may pay in three installments.
